Mizensir, the fragrance line of perfumer Alberto Morillas, has launched Anticonformiste, a new fresh aromatic fragrance.
Anticonformiste, created by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, is an homage to a day in New York, a city near and dear to his heart.
A fragrance opens with fresh, exhilarating notes of mint and violet leaf that mimic the brisk energy of morning in midtown. An elegant breath of gardenia conjures an afternoon walk through the chic streets of SoHo. Sensuous tonka bean and patchouli serve as the perfect "nightcap" for a cozy evening stroll through Central Park, dreaming of another day in the city where anything (and everything) is possible.
Additional notes include Sichuan pepper and calone.
Mizensir Anticonformiste is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, $285.

As someone who lives in NYC, none of those ingredients match up to those neighborhoods? I have never associated midtown with mint and violet leaf. Will have to smell it myself though.
M. Morillas has also forgotten to capture the scent of stale urine in a crowded, sweaty subway station at the height of summer 😛
Maybe he’s saving that note for the grittier flanker!
🙂
Smelled this today on my stroll through actual Soho. It’s very reminiscent of Alberto’s CK One from the 90s. Maybe it’s the calone note. But it’s super fresh, typical of that 90s green/marine vibe. Personally, I find it a little screetchy. It smells like a slightly elevated version of CK One. So if that’s your thing, you might like this.
Interesting, thanks!
Is there anything from this line worth trying?
Vert Empire is nicely done.
