Luxury niche line Clive Christian will launch the 150th Anniverary collection, with two fragrances honoring the 1872 founding of Crown Perfumery,* Timeless and Contemporary.
Timeless (shown above) ~ "From the Anniversary Collection. A timeless ode to the art of true perfumery, reminiscent of a prestigious past. Crafted to celebrate 150 years of the crown perfumery, this refreshing perfume comes alive with bitter orange, lime, and sparks of ginger, with classic English lavender, mint, and coriander seed spiced with nutmeg. A base of leather, musks, and amber holds this perfume close to the skin for an unparalleled experience."
Contemporary (not shown) ~ "From the Anniversary Collection. A contemporary feat of perfumery, a strand of history from the past into the future. Crafted to celebrate 150 years of the crown perfumery with a perfume bursting with elegant notes from warm nutmeg and cedarwood juxtaposed with earthy moss and a bracing single malt. Nodding geranium heads stir alongside hedgerow berries with a hint of black pepper, whispering perfume stories to the wearer. "
Clive Christian Anniverary Timeless and Contemporary are available now for pre-order at Saks Fifth Avenue, $395 each for 50 ml Parfum.

* Christian purchased the historic Crown Perfumery in 1999 and discontinued the brand's back catalog in 2002.
Both of these sound good. I especially like the green bottle of Timeless.
I have never forgiven CC for buying Crown and then discontinuing everything, so I refuse to be attracted, ha!
I feel exactly the same, Robin! I’m sure I’ve mentioned on here my lovely time at the Crown Perfumery shop in the Burlington Arcade many years ago.
Ha, we can both hold a grudge, can’t we?
