Niche line Mark Buxton Perfumes has launched Why Not A Fougère?, a new addition to the Freedom collection.
A new powerful, green and woody fougère.
why not reinterpret a fern? Modern, this one is an overdose of angelica and exaltolide, a musk naturally present in angelica seeds. At the top, the pear, more contemporary, takes the place of the traditional lavender which arrives only in heart. Later in the base, a leathery note replaces the conventional vanilla and recalls the elegance of the barbershop, while tonka and narcissus bring a refined depth to this fragrance.
Why Not A Fougère was developed by perfumer David Chieze. Additional notes include pink pepper, bergamot, cedar leaf, mandarin, geranium, magnolia, chamomile, violet, sage, patchouli, osmanthus and musk.
Mark Buxton Perfumes Why Not A Fougère? is available at Nose in France, €155 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
