British niche line Floris has launched Platinum 22, a new fragrance.
Exclusively created to honour and celebrate the historic milestone of the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The fragrance takes its inspiration from the flora of Her Majesty’s beautiful gardens which surround Her UK residences, a reflection on The Queen’s 70 years of service and of the many she has inspired during her remarkable reign.
Opening with top notes of cool orris, rounded by the comforting scent of oats, and lifted with a sparkle of blackcurrant and lime, Platinum 22 gently yields to the radiant heart notes of rich rose with violet leaves, clary sage, black tea, and a touch of black pepper to add a hint of spice. The fragrance then concludes with the warm woody base note of cedarwood enriched by a harmony of smooth amber, musk and tonka bean.
Floris London Platinum 22 is $310 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

No idea why, but this whole presentation made me want to hit the snooze button.
It’s very old school, no?
Their last one, Mulberry Fig, sounded more interesting, but that’s just me always wanting more fig.
Thank you Robin, I have a small, generally older Floris I enjoy but what I really anticipate more than a new perfume are the celebration of the Queen’s jubilee.
I wish I had a very old bottle of Floris Malmaison…and I never did try Malmaison Encore and don’t even know if they still make it.
I have been told Floris still offers MAalmaison in their backroom/bespoke boutique but I got my bottle on eBay, it is a well loved scent in the UK.
Good to know, thanks!
Some of the notes in this sound interesting. I have only liked one or two from Floris
