Molton Brown has launched Rose Dunes, a new limited edition fragrance.
This perfume is a sumptuous ode to the mysterious beauty of the Arabian Desert, with its floral-ambery bloom of spicy saffron, velvety rose and rich oudh accord. Dark patchouli – the signature note of this scent – adds sophisticated depth and has been sustainably sourced from Sulawesi, Indonesia, for its strength and extraordinary quality.
Rose Dunes was developed by perfumer Philippe Paparella. Additional notes include green pepper, ginger, cassis, violet leaf, bergamot, geranium, lily of the valley, magnolia, raspberry, leather, sandalwood, musk and vetiver.
Molton Brown Rose Dunes is available in London and in the Middle East, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: the description for the Eau de Toilette version, shown just above and also available in 100 ml...
Undeniably rich and mysterious, this Eau de Toilette intricately layers tart cassis, warm rose and earthy patchouli Sulawesi. Its intimate, velvety textures make it a luxuriously scented expression, inspired by the silent beauty of the desert.
A blooming mirage glistening among dusty-pink sand dunes at sunset. Shimmering hazes of golden saffron, tinged with rich cassis. The floral swirl of velvety rose and geranium, swept up in earthy patchouli Sulawesi – silent and sumptuous. Fall under its spell; get lost in the mystic beauty of the desert.
I like all these notes, but since it does not look widely available (yet?) and seems like something I may already have…lemmings curl up for a nap.
Not sure if it will ever be widely available…at the moment, seems to be a Ramadan thing? It is only at 1 store in London as of now.
I’d sniff this!
What is the exchange rate? This bottle maybe beyond even my aspirational range…
It is 600 AED, which is about $165.
Oh, that’s not so bad. I guess I could have looked up the exchange rate myself! Thank you…
“Rose Dunes” is a beautiful name for a perfume! ???
The name deserves a better bottle.
I’ve seen much worse as far as bottles go!
