Demeter has launched Amethyst Petals, the latest addition to their Fragrance Library.

If you are a believer in the power of crystals, then the healing and protective properties of Amethyst are well known. But Amethyst, which can be as light as a pinkish violet, or as dark and deep as a Concord grape, is above all, a powerful crystal. And it is the idea of that dark depth and power that we set out to capture and express in scent but re-imagined as a flower.

So we designed a fragrant heart of Iris, Violet and Patchouli, and layered it onto a powdery, flowery bed, with touches of exotic fruits. And created a unique floral fantasy, capturing the essential power of purple and blue flowers to express the true nature of Amethyst.

Demeter Amethyst Petals is available in 15, 30 or 100 ml Cologne and in matching bath and home products ($7.50 - $40).
