French ceramics brand Astier de Villatte has launched Tucson, a new personal fragrance based on the brand's Tucson incense and candle.
A torrid desert of wild beauty, an impressive tide of deliriously shaped giant cacti, a fantastic rodeo... From the bottle escape dizzying scents: the intoxicating fragrance of strawflowers from the maquis and sun-heated dunes, the aromatic and slightly animal notes of thyme; scents of red earth scorched with the heat of birch mingle with the delicious smell of sweet amber exhaled by the resin from the cistus labdanum, a shrub from Mediterranean countries.
Accompanied by its scented candle and incense, the scent of Tucson was created with Alexandra Monet, perfumer, in collaboration with Drom Fragrances. Held in an etched-glass spray bottle. Its highly sober and elegant case is made of sand-colored kraft paper, lined with gold on the inside.
Astier de Villatte Tucson is available in 10, 50 30 and 100 ml ($55 - $215), and can be found now at John Derian in New York City or Bon in Tucson.

Sounds interesting but the bottle looks like a disposable water bottle.
They don’t do gorgeous bottles but the scents are really well done. And really hoping they will add smaller sizes in the other scents…I have wanted to buy Grand Chalet since I smelled it.
Hmm. With all those Mediterranean materials, why is it called Tucson?
Good point. But I do think it sounds interesting. And the little 10 ml is cute.
