French niche line Jul et Mad has launched Les Essentiels, with seven new fragrances: Bergamote Twist, Cedrat Gingembre, Ganja Oud, Lys Nobilis, Noisette Iris, Revelo and Vetiver Cuir.

Always inspired by the creators’ LOVE – their love for superb raw materials, rare ingredients, pure essential oils – this new opus is composed of olfactory wonders, highlighting a specific note or a precise accord: seven original compositions, of the best quality, exclusively created in collaboration with Master Perfumer Luca Maffei.

Bergamote Twist ~ "This fragrance is a celebration of the most beautiful bergamot, enhanced by pure essential oils of Lavender and Labdanum, and sustained by a magnificent Amber accord, thus enhancing it with a veritable “chypre” characteristic. The soft, powdery, sweet and spicy accents around this magnificent bergamot will captivate the senses not only to the person wearing it, but to all around as well… And this, season after season…" Additional notes for the spicy citrus floral include pink pepper, cardamom, iris, cypress, vanilla and ambroxan.

Cedrat Gingembre ~ "The fragrance was composed around the essential oil of citron (Citrus medica), which enhances its fresh and natural character. Bergamot and Sweet Lime bring an exquisite freshness to the top note, along with the Icy Ginger, for an invigorating, uplifting effect. An exquisite aromatic heart, embellished with White Amber and woody notes, give this unisex fragrance an enveloping, elegant, modern touch." Additional notes for the green aromatic citrus include sea minerals, juniper, musk, sandalwood, gaiac and cedar.

Ganja Oud ~ "The pure nature and its spectacular splendor are captured in this original fragrance. The fresh Ganja flower is sublimated by a moderm Chamomile-Rhubarbe accord, accentuated by elegant, warm, enveloping notes of Saffron and Suede… The narcotic voyage continues, through a portal of mystical Incense, to reach the final destination: a magnificent paradise of precious Oud, Black Amber and precious woods…" Additional notes for the aromatic green woody fragrance include pink pepper, galbanum, cedar and sandalwood.

Lys Nobilis ~ "The enthralling composition is a veritable ode to the splendid, noble flower: not only the symbol of kings, but also the symbol of femininity, love, passion, adoration and admiration. The initial citrusy freshness of this genuine composition is beautifully incorporated in a most elegant bouquet of Jasmin, Freesia and Violet, while exposing, in a most magnificent and refined manner, the star of this fragrance, the Lily… No one can resist this pure essence of elegance, captivating by its amazing sillage , projection and lasting effect…" Additional notes for the floral fragrance include bergamot, peach blossom, clementine, pink pepper, vanilla, patchouli, white woods and musk.

Noisette Iris ~ "This delightful fragrance was composed around a delicious oriental-floral-gourmand accord, enticing from the first moments with the magnificent cocktail of Rose-Spice and Coffee Liquor. The gourmand adventure is pushed to the extreme, when the Hazelnut, accentuated by sophisticated accents of Orris powder, meets the sensual and cocooning bed of Vanilla and Musk. A fragrant delight for day or for night, a narcotic, guilty pleasure to succumb to without limit…" Additional notes for the gourmand floriental include pink pepper, blackcurrant, hazelnut, peach blossom, labdanum and patchouli.

Revelo ~ (Intended as a "Perfume Intensifier") "...the most beautiful and sensual musk revelation. Unisex. An innovative formulation that not only extends the longevity of your perfume, but one that, in addition, gives it more sillage, while accentuating its beauty. “REVELO”, to be used without moderation: alone, as a soft, second-skin fragrance; as a base under all JUL ET MAD Paris fragrances; or, as desired, combined with any other favorite perfume." With hedione, tonka bean, musk and ambroxan.

Vetiver Cuir ~ "Ode to the modern gentleman, this sophisticated fragrance revisits the mythical Vetiver, thus reviving the image of the traditional masculine elegance and refinement. Its mysterious and charming facets reveal a subtle but vigorous aspect, although imprinted of grace and sensibility. The noble ingredient palette used in this creation is acknowledged from the fresh start, through the velvety, leathery, narcotic heart, to reach its magnificence with the expression of the precious Vetiver, sustained by the precious woods. Classical and sophisticated, a true masculine original signature." Additional notes for the woody fragrance include bergamot, grapefruit, labdanum, ambroxan, patchouli, tonka bean, gaiac wood, cedar and cashmeran.

Jul et Mad Bergamote Twist, Cedrat Gingembre, Ganja Oud, Lys Nobilis, Noisette Iris and Vetiver Cuir are €125 each for 100 ml Eau de Parfum; Revelo is €85 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
