Nice! I used to make sure I had a couple of fans around the house when I lived in NYC. (Certainly not priced like this on, though) I’d keep one in my purse in the summer for use in the subway – but I never thought of scenting them. Good idea.
I admire them but doubt I’d use one, really. I’ve always wanted a real sandalwood fan, but doubt I’d use that either.
If you have time to kill, the Khu Khu site has some really fun fans too

Fun is right! That snake-print “Wild Thing” fan is awesome.
I have to share this compilation video of the inimitable Katya Yekatarina Zamolodchikova wielding an enviable array of fans with panache. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14ycm3ZawRY
Oh my, I would have to practice fan opening!
I also really liked “I Am A Fan”. It would be fun to carry that around in the summer.
I think the practice would be well worth it. Ladies in earlier times used to say quite a lot with their fans (even without words printed on them): snapping them open to punctuate a thought or closed to indicate discontent, laying a closed fan seductively against their lips, hiding coyly behind them…. Fans are a very practical accessory and well overdue for a renaissance.
So last Saturday, the 29th, SNLs musical guest was Katy Perry. Her backup dancers were dressed as mushrooms (???) and had large fans that said Eat Me. ? they looked exactly like the fans on this site. I wonder if that’s were they got them.
Those fans are so beautiful! I carry a cheap eBay Chinese fan in my purse, it’s a big blue fabric fan that raises quite a breeze. I love it because I am a big sweater, not perspirer, and I’m almost always hot when I’m indoors.
