It reportedly took four years, but Bvlgari did eventually sell that Opera Prima fragrance extravaganza, and now they've done it again, this time for the (comparatively) budget customer: meet L’Opera Grandiosa, available now at La Samaritaine in Paris for a mere €50,000. It's apparently been for sale since late last year, so if you want it, get a move on.
A flacon crafted like a jewel, L’Opera Grandiosa symbolizes the olfactive gems of nature Bulgari transforms into its Le Gemme Eau de Parfum collection. L’Opera Grandiosa represents the pinnacle of parfum flacon design.
The bottle is mouth-blown Venetian glass, with a "necklace" inspired by the brand's Serpenti jewelry and featuring 18k rose gold plus rubellites, amethysts and citrines, and two brilliant cut diamonds on the collar. The cap itself is a 2.5 carat spherical malachite. At this price, however, you do not get a one-of-a-kind juice; it is filled with Le Gemme Desiria (magnolia, rose and musk).

Would you get some free refills, or would you have to pay extra for that?
Would you care? You could just run it through the dishwasher and fill it with something else 😉
Now I have a mental image of the folks at Bvlgari holding their heads in their hands and moaning, “Our masterpiece, in … in a … a dishwasher! Mon Dieu!” ?
Looks like a winestopper to me ?
A very expensive wine stopper 🙂
The bottle looks like an updated version of the one with the potion in Death Becomes Her ?
Had to google because I did not see it…there is a Katy Perry bottle that is even closer!
I have not paid attention to Katie’s perfumes, so I had to Google it and it does look very much like it
Without those blue stripes at the bottom it almost has a Poison bottle vibe to it with that purple, gold and green. The malachite looks a bit like the watermarked green silk of the box in which Poison is packaged.
