Trish McEvoy has launched Fragrance X, a new perfume for women.
Fragrance X is a celebration of universal love that represents, “Love is in the air.” Love is always around us, it is just a matter of putting it out into the universe. An ode to love, the divine scent of calming lavender, sunny-sweet Italian bergamot, and the feminine-masculine earthiness of amber envelopes your senses in an everlasting aura of warmth and sensuality. Unmatched in intensity, the fragrance captivates and re-creates the magic of a loved one’s embrace.
Additional notes include saffron, rose, cinnamon, myrrh, sandalwood, patchouli and benzoin.
Trish McEvoy Fragrance X is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, $275.

I think lavender is having a moment lately. So many releases have it in the notes.
True. This is one of the few done up in red, though.
It’s a robust note, and inexpensive….
Not sure what you mean really. Not all lavender used in fragrance is robust, or cheap…depends. Some of the molecular fractions are expensive to produce. Of course I have no idea what they’re using here.
But I was surprised by the price for a Trish McEvoy.
It was going great, and I was liking the notes, feeling good, and then I got to the price.
Same here, but the likelihood of finding this discounted at a CCO someday cheered me up.
So true! I will look on the bright side.
When I saw rose, cinnamon, and amber listed, I thought of Andy Tauer’s rose perfumes.
