French niche line Pierre Guillaume has launched 29 Itabaïa, a new unisex fragrance.
ITABAÏA renews the «hesperidic» genre in our collection. This «Hesperidic Heat», where the fresh and fruity notes barely conceal the wisps of an illicit spliff, has a neo-chypre air thanks to an accord of Hemp and Vanilla.
For this new Opus, inaugurating the theme 29 “Hesperimental” Pierre GUILLAUME was inspired by the strength and energy associated with Capoeira, this Afro-Brazilian art combining dance and wrestling. On the Brazilian beach of Itacaré, dance warriors perform an acrobatic and solar ballet to the rhythm of berimbau and feverish songs, dazzling the spectator with power, grace and harmony.
Additional notes include bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple leaves, passion fruit, jurema flower and hibiscus wood.
Pierre Guillaume 29 Itabaïa is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Well now. I don’t know what jurema flower smells like, I’ll have to scratch a pineapple leaf at the store today, and I had to google the definition of spliff, but I’m definitely interested in sniffing this one.
Also like the created word “hesperimental”. ?
I could have saved you a google search, Nancy!?
Could be great fun. I don’t know what jurema flower smells like either.
Weird…
Possibly.
Fruit bomb galore ??
This sound intriguing. Love what comes out of this house. He’s super talented. I have coze and it’s just masterfully blended.
I haven’t heard anyone use the term “spliff” since the late 1980’s or early 1990’s!
Ummm…
The French text on the site (which I assume is the original) also says spliff.
I am not up on the newest lingo in either language.
I am into this house but haven’t been intrigued by any releases of late; this does sound appealing though. I always wonder how “spliffy” scents like this will be – the streets of New York City are already rather….”spliffy!”
