French niche line Anatole Lebreton has launched Racine Carrée, a new vetiver fragrance.
A serene fragrance that reveals a hidden world. Vetiver is said to have soothing properties, and indeed, Racine Carrée is an intimate fragrance, providing a sense of groundedness and calm presence.
The rough, earthy feel of vetiver and cypriol is balanced by the roundness of iris, the freshness of celery, and the sweet childlike joy of chamomile. I didn't want a scent that screams, show off, and in your face, but rather a zen and serene scent.
Additional notes include carrot, clary sage, licorice and ambrox.
Anatole Lebreton Racine Carrée is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €105 at Anatole Lebreton in France. The "Racine Box", €45, includes a 7.5 ml travel spray of Racine Carrée plus 10 raw materials in 2.5 ml vials.

This sounds good. That check design reminds me of the Verizon logo lol.
I think this one sounds really good too…
(It obviously reminds me of math too lol.)
It’s the mathematical square root sign, which is also the direct translation of the perfume name.
That description invites me. Serenity around vetiver sounds like made for me. I need to look for a sample, no local perfumery around stocks this brand.
Good luck!
I have a sample and it is wonderful. Powdery iris, clean, earthy roots, the vetiver is very well balanced. It satisfies several craves: clarity of mind, feeling of beeing outdoor, childhood memories of fields..
