A fruit basket from Jeni's. "Apples, pears, and oranges … oh, meh! It’s time to retire the traditional holiday fruit basket. Here’s the gift upgrade every fruit loving, sour candy eating, jam spreading human you know will love to discover on their doorstep. I’m happy to sing Jeni’s praises all day long! Savannah Buttermint is my current favorite and so happy this can be purchased at our local markets vs. having to wait for her to open up shop in NYC.
These other flavors look fantastic too!
Wow, you can buy Savannah Buttermint in a store? I can find Jeni’s locally but the same 7-8 flavors (and only 2 of those shown above).
I really want to try the Raspberry w/ Rose Jelly, the Goat Cheese w/ Red Cherries and the Coffee w/ Cream & Sugar (why that one isn’t widely distributed is a mystery).
And guess who is now heading to Whole Foods later today? ?
What is the Savannah Buttermint like? Very minty, or not so much?
Here’s a fun write-up on it by Jeni! It’s spot on, buttery with some saltiness and those white chocolate flecks. It is minty but so much more!

Have to plug a local ice cream purveyor (no affiliation beyond my generous waistline) . Humphry Slocumbe https://www.humphryslocombe.com/.
I ordered four pints shipped to my sister in law (and she never likes what I get her!) for her birthday, and she loved them! Also, plenty of weird and wonderful flavors.
And now my life’s ambition is to try Savannah Buttermint from Jeni’s.
PS. And now I have this weird feeling I have plugged this ice cream before on NST. Sorry to be a broken record!!!
Are you kidding, it’s ice cream! You can plug it as often as you like.
Plus, they make Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee, so I love them already. (And love some of the past flavors…Elvis The Fat Years, Government Cheese!)
I am officially jealous that you have local access.
This brand looks amazing!
The names are so fun too 😉
Now what we need is some savvy entrepreneurs to open up a store just for ice cream so they can stock all these brands! There just isn’t enough room in regular food markets to carry all that’s out there.
WF has ice cream in sale this week till Wednesday. Run!
I have local access to Jeni’s here in Portland but this is a nice luxury gift for an ice cream lover!
If you ever try the Goat Cheese w/ Cherries, do come back and tell me if it is delicious! I have never had any shipped but thinking it would be a fun splurge this fall…
Very glad I saw this AFTER I had eaten my lunch!!
I want to stop up at the local creamery here that makes goat milk products. Their cheeses and soaps sell locally – they do a lot of chèvre products. I want to try the goat milk gelato. I’ve never had gelato from goat milk. They also offer tours of their goat farm, which I definitely need to do. Goats are the comedians of the farm animal set.
I only tried Jenni once and liked it a lot. I think it was lemon blueberry.
Amazing selection of flavors on that site — what I want are minis of all of them!
Robin, I’m a little late to the party here. I live in Columbus and have Jeni’s often. The goat cheese and cherries is amazing. My favorite right now is probably the skillet cinnamon roll. I can provide reviews on any flavor you like. ?
So glad to hear it, thank you! I think this fall I will splurge and have some shipped.
