Penhaligon's has launched Constantinople, a new fragrance in the brand's Trade Routes Collection.
The Constantinople eau de parfum by Penhaligon's is created for the Queen of Cities, where elegant florals collide with warm, earthy aromas. Stimulating olfactory senses and creating a rush of sensual experiences, this fragrance begins with notes of pink pepper and frozen lavender, which transform into a defiant base of vanilla, patchouli and moss. It's an excursion of opulent wonders from the one of the world’s most esteemed fragrance houses.
Additional notes include geranium, rose, iris and cypriol.
Penhaligon's Constantinople is available at Harrods, £178 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Notes sound great. I hope the rose doesn’t overwhelm. The good news is that I will be able to smell this and other perfumes in New York when I am there 1-2x a week.
Not even mentioned in the description, so would expect the rose to be light.
Defiant vanilla? ?
All I can picture is vanilla with its hands on its hips, yelling “I WON’T clean my room!”
Ha!
The phrase ‘frozen lavender’ is the one which caught my attention, in the wrong way. It sounds like a fancy LA ice cream flavor, not like a ‘warm earthy’ aroma from Constantinople,
