Comptoir Sud Pacifique has launched Yucatàn Secret, a new fragrance in the Eau de Voyage collection. Yucatàn Secret was inspired by the cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula.
The fragrance opens with the sparkling notes of Bergamot whose freshness is amplified by the aquatic accords of Melon. A floral heart with the aromatic facets of Absinthe plays the harmonious link to the deep and powerful notes of Woods warmed by an Amber that is more sensual than ever.
Yucatàn Secret was developed by perfumer Thomas Fontaine. Additional notes for the aromatic woody fougère include lavender, cashmere woods and sandalwood.
Comptoir Sud Pacifique Yucatàn Secret is available in 30 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I would never buy anything inspired by a cenote—where virgin girls were thrown down holes and sacrificed during the Mayan empire. The energy around the cenotes in Chichen Itza was horrific.
I won’t argue with it, but I don’t feel that way at all. (Agree that the particular cenote sagrado at Chichen Itza was freaky though.)
Lavender?!
Hard to make a fougere without lavender 😉
