Cartier has launched Les Rivières de Cartier, with three new unisex fragrances (Rivières Allègresse, Rivières Luxuriance and Rivières Insouciance) developed by Cartier house perfumer Mathilde Laurent and "inspired by rivers in nature".
Rivières Allègresse (above left) ~ "Allègresse represents a joyful river that quivers with delight as tuberose passes by. Leaf after leaf, petitgrain and bergamot, the vivacious river flourishes, bathing in fresh notes of blackcurrant bud."
Rivières Luxuriance (above center) ~ "Luxuriance represents a generous and complex river, brimming with nature, fern, lentiscus, oak, geranium, rosemary and wild herbs. A natural and wild freshness."
Rivières Insouciance (above right) ~ "Insouciance represents a gentle river that sparkles in the suns rays, bouncing off blooming flowers, irises and violets, glistening in the cool shade of fruit trees."
Cartier Rivières Allègresse, Rivières Luxuriance and Rivières Insouciance are available now at Holt Renfrew in Canada, $145 (CAD, I think?) each for 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Wonder if this is the first perfume ad copy to anthropomorphize a river (“quivering with delight”)? ?
Doubt I’ll ever run across it, but do like the sound of Rivieres Allegresse.
I mean, *I* quiver with delight when tuberose passes by, so I suppose I can relate…
Also quivering because of the promised tuberose… But those Cartier scents are hard to come by.
Ha, good point!
I wonder if Rivières Allègresse will be anything like that Le Labo Tubereseuse. That was basically a sunny cologne with tuberose….
Plus, I adore that one, and this is cheaper!
