I bought a couple of their flavors last summer; strawberry basil and one with rose in it. They are very good but a little expensive. I didn’t use them in tea, I made light summer sodas with a dash of syrup, club soda and ice. Very refreshing, I liked the fact I could control the taste and sugar myself. But a bottle didn’t make very many so the cost per drink was excessive I thought. But they ARE interesting flavors.
Thanks Kelly Red! You’re right that it isn’t a cheap way to flavor anything. I was thinking a splash in a cocktail would be fun — I bought a bottle of Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, which is already quite summery and thought this might make it even more so.
The second bottle was raspberry rose. I liked that one the best and it would make an excellent wine spritzer. Cocktails would only need a tsp so that would make the bottle last longer.
That does sound like it would make a good spritzer!
I tried a peach/thyme one and it’s SO THYMEY — was hoping the peach would be more dominant.
Interesting, thanks so much!
