Luxury niche line Clive Christian has launched Matsukita, a new woody chypre fragrance. Matsukita joins Crab Apple Blossom in the Crown Collection, featuring scents "inspired by" the Crown Perfumery archives.*
A new illusive scent inspired by Clive Christian's foundations in the Crown Perfumery Company; this unique perfume first created in 1892 has been reimagined from the archives for a new era of perfume connoisseur. Inspired by a Japanese princess who awed the Victorian court with her elegance, this perfume captures a mystical grace from the finest ingredients in a potent concentration with a powerful royal heritage unique to the world of perfumery.
Green bergamot meets sparkling pink pepper and spicy nutmeg for a fresh and invigorating top, laced with a floral and smokey heart of Chinese imperial jasmine and mate tea. Hints of jasmine sambac and guaiac oil complement woody tones, whilst rich amber, fir balsam absolute and whispering musks form a sensual and warm base. A mysterious and complex fragrance crafted with 252 unique ingredients and an outstanding 25% parfum concentration.
Clive Christian Matsukita is available at Bergdorf Goodman, $450 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
