Italian niche line Laboratorio Olfattivo has launched Vanagloria, a new fragrance.
The Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion presents Vanagloria: «For the Masters' Collection, I wanted to create a perfume that expresses all the richness of Vanilla and its multiple facets. This creation is built around an LMR Vanilla bean of sublime quality, of which I have amplified the most subtle tones. This Bourbon Vanilla, grown in the heart of the Indian Ocean, is extracted using CO2, a cold extraction technique that reveals the full spectrum of its gourmand, floral, leathery and spicy notes. Its leathery character is reinforced by saffron and its addictiveness by the tonka bean, while the enveloping layers of incense add the texture of a mystical aura.»
Additional notes include pineapple and musk.
Laboratorio Olfattivo Vanagloria is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Tigerlily in San Francisco just sent out an email about this since they carry some of this line. I highly recommend trying Alambar if you like spicy amber scents. Different strokes for different folks though! One of their more popular scents, Mandarino, did not work for me at all! I can’t wait to try this one. I really appreciate that Tigerlily (and Indigo, and Twisted lily) sell samples in spray vials instead of dabbers (looking at you, luckyscent!)
Oh, and Mandarino was the Jean Claude Ellena one, IIRC — too bad!
I love Alambar!
Also wish luckyscent sold sprays.
I want this. So will She-Ra, I bet ?.
I thought of her immediately, too!
Indeed…I have unlimited vanilla wants. 🙂
I know I share the article below w/ you already but in case anyone else stumbles upon it and wants more info.
