More chocolate for Valentine's Day...Rose in the Violet Dress ("filled with a rose and violet fondant") and She Dreams in Marmalade (dark chocolate with orange pieces). Not shown is another I would not mind eating, Lady Antoine's Garden (dark chocolate with elderflower), £6 - 7 each at Fortnum & Mason.

Elderflower–that *would* be fun. I’ve always wondered about the taste.
Elderflower is one of my most favoritest flavors — it has notes in common with black currant but it light and springtimey and plays well with lemons, and heavenly with champagne!
Oh yes. Elderflower syrup in Prosecco is my favorite summer refresher. I also like it in iced green tea.
You can get really good elderflower syrup very cheaply at Aldis!
I bring it back from Germany along with tubes of vanilla paste for less then 3 euro!
I only know the taste from St Germain and from Fever Tree Elderflower tonic water…but I suppose that means I don’t really know what it tastes like outside of a cocktail.
Thank you Robin, any chocolate with orange is always a favorite with me but they all soubd scrumptious.
Same, it is one of my favorites.
Thank you for this article, Robin. My late & still very much missed Mum adored rose & violet cream chocolates, & my late & equally much missed Dad used to pop along to Fortnum & Mason to buy them for her on a regular basis – his office was just along Piccadilly from F&M – I remember tasting them as a teenager but not liking them at all, funny how your taste preferences change as you get older! Cherished memories indeed.
How sweet!!
