I pretty much want all the soaps. Not just these–ALL the soaps out there. I find that I can enjoy scents in soaps or shower gel that I would not particularly care for as a perfume.
I really don’t use enough soap. I want all the shower gels. But now I want the toasted lilac in a shower gel.
“Not just these–ALL the soaps out there.*?and completely agree that scents I enjoy in soaps aren’t necessarily those I’d choose for perfume either.
I have a set of Claus Porto that I have been slowly working my way through and bust out the Chypre today and it is lovely.
I have a Claus Porto liquid hand soap I’m hoarding. I want to say I got it from LS when trying to reach the next sample threshold. The things we do… ?
Toasted Lilac? Yes please.
Exactly!
These look fabulous. Honey cedar is speaking to me.. and it’s saying “You know I smell amazing. Why won’t you bring me home?”
Of course it is!
Well, you could get the set and swap the one(s) that don’t appeal to you…
?
I ordered two boxes when BF announced the product, one for my mom and one for me. The packaging is really terrific. I haven’t yet tested the soaps . . . But anticipate that it will be decent quality.
I’m really interested to hear about these. When you sniff them, do you have a favorite?
$30 for soap is a hard pill to swallow, but…if they were drawer sachets, it’d be totally justifiable, right??
I bought this set a few weeks ago when it was first released and am so glad I did. I love the smell of all three soaps and started off with Black Suede in my shower. The soap quality is wonderful – it’s very fragrant, lathers considerably, and is non-drying on my skin. The Toasted Lilac smells absolutely amazing in the box, so I’m looking forward to using it too. Black Suede is a sweet sueded white musk. It smells like expensive soap – rightfully so, ha. The scent fills the bathroom when in use but it doesn’t linger long on skin afterwards. I can smell it on my arms just after the shower but then it fades. These are just small bars and are easy to hold in the hand. I could definitely see splurging on the big bar for $18 at some point. It’s one of the best soaps I’ve used in a while. Can’t wait to use the other two!
Having not yet used mine, I appreciate your review. Sounds lovely!
I ordered 3 sets right away. I am giving each niece a set and I am keeping one for myself. I haven’t opened mine but it is waiting in the wings!
Showing up so late to say I bought only the Honey Cedar scent. It smells great but perhaps a bit more refined than I thought it would be. Not a diss but I’m not sure I’d say, “Yes, honey AND cedar,” based on a quick scrub. I am excited to try the rest.
I’m curious to try these (love soaps) but the high cost of shipping to Canada is not an option. Folks in the states always gets the best stuff!
