I was in New York in November 2009 for my husband’s birthday (we saw Turandot at the Met! I went fragrance shopping!) and I bought that exact set, in I think that exact box. Wrappings is amazing, an explosion of joy, and I can’t even complain that they only make it available once a year — it makes it even more special. It’s available on the Canadian website, too, but not at such a good price: $61. Worth it!

I think Wrappings is such a joyful scent, definitely a holidays scent association for me.
It was indeed spectacular, the greatest thing I had ever seen on a stage to that point. I mean, it’s the Met! They don’t do things in half measures!
Then I saw Einstein On The Beach in Toronto in 2012, and it was so staggering that I had to cancel plans and see it again the next night. It remains the most overwhelming, transformative stage experience of my life.
Ah, wonder if they will mark it down more next week?
Thank you or possibly no thank you, Robin–finally pulled the trigger on this gift box after dithering about Wrappings for literally four years. I’ve only bought a few perfumes this year, and this is perfumath free, so I think it’s ok, even if it is a blind buy 🙂

Not only is it perfumath free, but at a 25 mL size, it only counts as a decant, not a FB.
No regrets having paid full price for my Wrappings this year. I have noticed that sometimes the body smoother/lotion shows up on Amazon solo after Christmas…
