L'Occitane has launched Rose Calisson, a new fragrance for women inspired by the almond paste candy.
Of all the sweet treats from Provence, the most iconic has to be the Calisson. L'Occitane introduces a twist on this traditional delicacy by combining it with Rose in a delicious olfactory creation with a floral and powdery trail. At the heart of this irresistible composition, the petal-soft, airy facets of Centifolia and Damascena Roses mingle with the sweet, tender notes of Calisson before settling into a subtly woody base.
Additional notes include nectarine, mandarin, orange blossom and cedar.
L'Occitane Rose Calisson is available at L'Occitane in 50 ml Eau de Toilette or 15 ml Perfume Gel, and in matching body products.

Hmm, I have been looking for a nice almond scent. I bought some Joop! Le Bain unsiffed, but sadly, it included an accord I didn’t like one bit.
Would suspect this is more rose than almond, but worth a shot!
Lancôme has a nice almond scented fragrance, Jasmin marzipan. I sampled it a while ago. I can’t remember details but may be worth checking it out.
I have a bottle and enjoy the almond in it.
JM Honey and Crocus has a stunning dose of almond in it. Also LPRN Black Perfecto. (I found the almond in Jasmins Marzipane gets drowned out by the jasmine, for me.) L’Occitane’s Almond body product line also smells fantastically almondy.
Oooh, the pink bottle of my dreams. Sounds like the juice is sweet and flowery, might be nice. Plus body products. I will look for this…
Veering off into Almond, have you tried Guerlain’s Mon Precieux Nectar? It is very almondy, and pretty. I am wearing it a lot as the weather gets colder.
