For Acqua di Parma Colonia fans, the Edizione Speciale: "Every bottle is made with the expertise of skilled artisans on the Murano island of Venice, home to generations of the most expert craftsmen in glass art. Luminous stars adorn the glass, the result of a precise manual engraving technique with a diamond tip, giving the end product both a tactile and visionary sensorial experience. Each element is carefully decorated and embellished with 12K white gold leaves, lending a soft and opulent touch to the decor that emulates shining stars. A soft gold leaf plaque completes this detailed and refined work of art." $550 for 180 ml at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Very appealing…but $550? They sure are proud of their precise manual engraving!?
Yeah, L’Artisan only charges $12 for theirs. Of course, they don’t use white gold.
Nor do they have it done in Murano 🙂
I wonder if the glass is different, too, although they don’t say.
Also, it’s 180 ml, which is more than 6 ounces.
Maybe we are also paying for some diamond dust ??♀️
Holiday gift season surcharge? Also, it’s over 6 ounces, enough to bathe in as colognes were originally intended. ?
Is Murano glass superior?
