Aerin has launched Fleur de Peony, a new fragrance for women.
Fleur de Peony brings beauty to any celebration. The scent begins, sunny and light-filled, with fresh citrus notes of Mandarin and Pomelo. Lychee adds a glisten of sweet succulence paired with rich Jasmine Petals and lush Cyclamen, dewy and ethereal in its floralcy. Final notes of Sri Lankan Sandalwood, Ambrox and Musk add warmth and radiance.
“I have always loved peonies. These beautiful flowers add a celebratory touch to any occasion. We used the pale pink peony on my wedding day for both the ceremony and magical dinner. The flower holds many special memories for me that I will never forget.” - Aerin Lauder
Aerin Fleur de Peony is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, and in matching candle and body cream.

Am I the only one who doesn’t care for peony scents? And I like a lot of florals.
You’re definitely not the only one. There are some otherwise lovely fragrances that I end up not liking somehow because of a strong peony note. And freesia!
Even peony on a list of notes is a red flag to me. It always smells like “generic pink floral”.
Nope, you are not. Peony is an immediate deal breaker for me. It gets incredibly screechy on me; sometimes to the point of smelling like Windex.
Same. Peony and freesia. And I LOVE the smell of real peonies, so it’s quite the disappointment.
I also dislike peony and freesia. Whenever I see the notes, I think dang it! And stop reading.
True – sometimes when I first sniff, I think “Pretty”, but the pretty wears off and the annoying is left after 45 minutes or an hour, for both peony and freesia…
Sounds awfully generic.
This scent isn’t getting a lot of love. I like a nice peony scent. Aerin makes some great fragrances, but are a bit in the pricey side for what you get. It’s at least worth a sniff in my opinion.
