One of my favorite souvenirs from traveling is toothpaste. I will probably give this a try, the Lemon Basil Mint is calling.
I will try it too, as soon as I use down the stupid amount of toothpaste I already have.
Toothpaste is my secret vice. I brought back four really nifty ones from Germany* and I haven’t even started on them yet, but today I was dreamily shopping for Marvis toothpastes online and thisclose to ordering some, and I might yet because I found a place that still has the Black Forest in stock….
* One of them (https://www.dm.de/dontodent-zahnpasta-shiny-gold-p4058172192173.html) has tiny particles of real gold, I mean I ask you
I have the Black Forest and love it, but was surprised that it had fluoride, and so does the new Orange Blossom. So I will probably not replace either even though I really like them.
What are your others from Germany? I bought some Ajona Stomaticum and it is so strong and so FROTHY that my travel tube will last me for years.
I probably don’t need any gold either 😉
The other three were from a line called Dental Delight: Shimmery Shine (activated charcoal, licorice and mint), Sunny Splash (grapefruit mint), and Bahama Breeze (pineapple coconut). There was a fourth one but it’s only mint, and no thank you, just give me stupid flavours.
I was surprised to see that the new flavours of Marvis have fluoride, too. I use a weekly fluoride rinse but I guess I’ll have to stop that once I try some of those other flavours (because I *am* buying the Black Forest and the Orange Blossom, as well as a backup tube of Amarelli Licorice, my one true love).
Thanks pyramus!
I was slightly disappointed in Black Forest, I get no hint of chocolate or cherry? But Sweet and Sour Rhubarb is great. Orange Blossom is next up, along with some cardamom from India.
I was debating the rhubarb one. Thumbs up from you? I just might.
Interesting! I get both, but they are subtle, and the cherry is more obvious than the chocolate. It is nothing like the punch of licorice in their licorice toothpaste, that is for sure. Karakum, my staple, is also pretty subtle I think.
