Cartier has launched Les Épures de Parfum, a new trio of luxury fragrances celebrating "the original resonance and beauty of living nature". Pur Magnolia, Pur Muguet and Pur Kinkan were developed by Cartier house perfumer Mathilde Laurent.
Pur Magnolia ~ floral citrus, "A magnolia without romance for a change, as if hanging from a tree, refined with freshness and full of radiance."
Pur Muguet ~ floral, "A striking floral fragrance that exudes femininity." The notes include bergamot, lily of the valley, jasmine, rose and musk.
Pur Kinkan ~ citrus (kinkan is another word for kumquat), "A fragrance so light it can be enjoyed before it even touches the skin. The purest form of citrus."
Cartier Pur Magnolia, Pur Muguet and Pur Kinkan are available now at Saks Fifth Avenue, $270 each for 75 ml Eau de Toilette, or $174 for a coffret of all three in 15 ml.

Oh I’d love to smell the Muguet! And I like the bottles very much.
I would like to smell the magnolia!
Me too!
Hmm, Muguet and the kumquat one sound interesting but the prices are outrageous. And the bottles look cheap, like something in the perfume section of CVS.
Oh no, do you hate them? I don’t hate them at all.
It’s not so much the bottle as the cheap looking cap. I think for that price you should get more pizazz then a basic white straight sided cap. Little string tie aside.
I do like the floral shadowing, but can’t get by the sorry excuse of a cap.
They remind me of body sprays, but I can’t recall which ones.
I like the coffret but $175 for 45 ml?
Yeah, not a bargain.
While I like and have a couple of VCAs, I’m not sure that I have forgiven them yet for Muguet Blanc, possibly my worst scrubber in a decade.
I will take some kumquat please, love the bottle designs:).
