Postcards from closed gardens: 1) A lovely short video from the Jardín Botánico de Bogotá ('While you stay at home, there is a Garden renewing itself for the city'), then below the jump, we have 2) footage from the 2nd of April at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, followed by 3) Sally Petitt leading an 8 minute "wellness walk" around the Mediterranean Beds at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, then 4) Steve Wright shows off the blooming rhododendrons at the Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens in Devon, Pennsylvania.
my GOD these are soothing
So glad!
It is very soothing to look for these at night just before bed, and then go up and read a few pages of Mirror & the Light (troubles of another time period) and then I fall asleep NOT thinking of covid-19.
Beautiful! If you can stand one more mention of Covid-19, this series I’ve been following talks about the immunity boosting activity of “Forest Bathing.” It’s starts about 1:30 of you want to skip the statistics.

Interesting, thanks Deva!
These are so beautiful! Robin, you might consider adding or featuring Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. They do some virtual visits twice a day and have a live-stream for their butterfly garden on YouTube.
