Givenchy has introduced a new luxury collection, La Collection Particulière, with nine new fragrances. Accord Particulier is intended as a layering fragrance, to be worn with any of the other eight (Enflammé, Garçon Manqué, Indompté, Oiseau Rare, Peur de Rien, Sans Artifice, Sans Merci and Trouble Fête); the collection was inspired by the 1952 Les Séparables collection of haute couture separates.
(I do not have complete notes for all the fragrances; I will update when I can.)
Accord Particulier ~ With rose, patchouli, vetiver and ambrox. ["A scent intricately balanced around Givenchy Perfumery's iconic quartet of ingredients: honeyed Rose Damascena Essence, woody Haitian Vetiver, the musky-amber of Ambrox and intoxicating Patchouli Essence."]
Enflammé ~ With smoked tobacco and vanilla. ["Ardent Vanilla Surabsolute tussles with Turkish Tobacco to fan the flames of temptation. An incandescent duo dressed up in the animal sweetness of Labdanum and Tolu Balsam Absolute, with sparks of Coffee Absolute and Patchouli."]
Garçon Manqué ~ With osmanthus and leather. ["The intensely soft kiss of candied osmanthus flower – a late bloomer – frolicking with handsome Grasse Leather. A gender-libre duo dressed up in Incense, Styrax and Essence of Birch. Unlock contagious confidence thanks to this paradox of Apricot Velvet and Rough Skin…"]
Indompté ~ With oud. ["The obscurest of Ouds in a dangerous confrontation with Sicilian mandarin. The ultimate of untamed…where dark meets light. A wild duo dressed up luminous Orange Blossom, spicy Safran and radical Woodleather."
Oiseau Rare ~ With pittosporum. ["Sunny Pittosporum gets twisted with extravagant Sri Lankan Pepper. An outstanding duo dressed up in vibrant Cedarwood Virginia Essence, burnt Guaiac Wood Essence and silky-soft Vanilla Absolute."]
Peur de Rien ~ With orange and narcissus. ["As legendary as it is challenging to work with, Narcissus Absolute gets slashed with a generous splash of Tarocco Orange. A fearless duo dressed up in Bergamot Essence, glowing Orange Blossom Absolute and exalted Ylang Ylang extra."]
Sans Artifice ~ With ginger and white tea. ["The pure elegance of Imperial White Tea stripped naked by fusing notes of Ginger Essence. This most genuine duo dressed up in Bergamot Essence, Infusion of Rose Centifolia, Cedar Wood and voluptuous White Musk."]
Sans Merci ~ With davana and wormwood. ["Rare, sacred Essence of Davana is unsparingly harmonized with sophisticated Haitian Vetiver. A merciless duo dressed up in smoked, velour notes of Whiskey and Patchouli Essence."]
Trouble Fête ~ With green fig leaves, sesame seeds and frankincense. ["The Fig Leaf as the hero, shaken up by toasted notes of Torrified Sesame. An irreverent duo dressed up in the suavest notes of Jasmin Sambac Absolute and Incense Extracts."]
Givenchy La Collection Particulière Accord Particulier, Enflammé, Garçon Manqué, Indompté, Oiseau Rare, Peur de Rien, Sans Artifice, Sans Merci and Trouble Fête are reportedly available now at the Sephora Champs-Élysées, Paris, €195 each.

Like all fragrance stores in France, Sephora Champs-Élysées is closed. So I’m afraid La Collection Particulière isn’t available anywhere at the moment.
Yeah, good point.
I believe this is coming to Hudson’s Bay in Canada. They’re going to discontinue most of the current collection in N.America (both women’s and men’s) in order to introduce this collection. All that’s being kept in N.America will be;
-Gentleman
-Pi
-L’Interdit
-Live Irrésistible
And possibly Eau De Givenchy
They’re revamping the line. A lot is gone, so let’s see what direction they take things.
Thanks.
@Jovejove – nice to see another Canuck here! Would love to know where you buy your stock (I’m in Toronto)… so when life goes back to a new normal I can track down some of the lovely scents Robin mentions here.
QUESTION: Of the existing line, what are the fragrances to stock up on?
My husband has been wearing Pi for 20 years and it still suits him even if it doesn’t smell the same anymore… but he’s also favouring Versace Oud Noir these days.
The new ones sound lovely so far though!
There is no Givenchy fragrance I would buy at the moment, so I am the wrong person to ask — that might be a good question for the open thread tomorrow?
Pi is such a great scent, your husband has good taste 🙂
I think their Vetyver is very good, and I also really like III, an old school Chypre, if your into that kind of thing.
