Robin, thanks for posting these, and earlier videos. I want to go there right now! ? But at least it does remind me to take a little walk in the sunshine. Hope you and your family are well today.
We had a lovely walk yesterday, but would have been lovelier at Kew for sure! We are very well and hope you and yours are too.
Thank you for this Robin, Kew is so special, daffodils have a unique place in the British psyche, but alas a little bit too far for me to go right now, I might end up being questioned by the police 🙂 so it’s great to see this video.
Plus, you can tell Kew has a much bigger filming budget than many gardens — these are really well done.
If this isn’t enough to relax you then some of the BBC’s slow TV ‘all aboard’ programmes are on YouTube (if you fancy a 7 hour video of a canal-boat travelling along UK canals in summer , or 2 hours following a country bus as it travels though the Yorkshire countryside) ??
I never heard of these but thanks for the tip! I am working from home and something like this playing in the background would be a wonderful distraction!
It’s very relaxing as background. Try searching ‘BBC All aboard’ for the canal trip, country bus (or the Christmas sleigh ride through northern Sweden if you’re in the mood).
Each of these is about 2 hours long (if you search ‘slow tv canal journey it’ll give you a different 7.5 hour canal trip)!
Great idea, thanks!
The Canal trip is great, lots of lapping water & birdsong – very soothing ?
