French niche line Anatole Lebreton has launched Perfumista, a new fragrance.
The fragrance is built around a woody rose accord that serves as a common thread. The Bulgarian rose essence, lively and sparkling, combines harmoniously with round and soft patchouli, for a heart full of elegance. The accord is orned with Indian jasmine that accentuates the flowery aura and with Virginia cedar for a velvety woody base; fruity notes of pear and plum brighten the head. [...]
Anatole Lebreton created Perfumista to share his passion with passionate people, without calculation. What if this was true luxury: The freedom to challenge fashions and conventions, to be oneself? Simply expressing one’s personality, one’s eccentricity, and authenticity.
Additional notes include raspberry, Peru balsam, musk and Mousse de Saxe accord.
Anatole Lebreton Perfumista is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €130 at Anatole Lebreton in France, $150 at Luckyscent in the US.

Roses are the new black?
????
??? Good One!
I don’t know how much love he gets but I like his fragrances generally!!
I have almost Grimoire MANY times.
I love that one, also. Maybe it would be a good split candidate?
Oops – sorry, never mind, it’s not the one I was thinking of!
Yeah, I had the sample set of the first 4 releases and though there wasn’t a love, i liked them a lot!
Seems like it!
In this case, I would ignore the listed notes and merely get a sample. His listed notes are not representative of the interesting effects he produces, and I’ve liked all but one. I own both L’Eau Scandaleuse and Grimoire. He is really uncompromising, and I fully enjoy both of these. They are real perfumes, though: once you’ve applied, you’re in for the ride. Great stuff.
