Molton Brown will introduce a new limited edition holiday fragrance, Bizarre Brandy. Muddled Plum will return for the holiday season, and Vintage with Elderflower, previously available in body products, will also be introduced in Eau de Toilette. (Festive Frankincense & Allspice will return in body products as well.)
Bizarre Brandy ~ developed by perfumer Karine Dubreuil. "London via The Roaring Twenties. Lowlit, glimmering walnut panels curve burnished copper alcoves. A smoky haze of hushed secrets sipped with brandied Sidecars. The decadent pleasures of the Bright Young Things, whirling to riotous jazz rhythms. Let the festive frivolity of High Bohemia reign." With notes of cardamom, orange, ginger, aged brandy, coffee, maple, incense, cedar and tobacco.
Vintage with Elderflower ~ "London via Champagne-Ardenne. Vineyard rows abundant with ripe fruit. A cool cellar of vintage cuvée. Sparkling crystal glasses on silver trays. Toast the celebrations in resplendent taste. Refined. Spirited. Effervescent." With notes of grapefruit, mandarin, white currant, elderflower, coriander, petitgrain, vetiver, tonka bean and ambergris.
Molton Brown Bizarre Brandy, Muddled Plum and Vintage with Elderflower with be available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching bath, body and home fragrance items.

They both sound wonderful. I’d pick Bizarre Brandy (what’s with that name?) in the shower gel for winter and the elderflower for the summer.
Well, I have quite the backlog of shower gels, so will be getting neither. ?
Lord & Taylor has the body products for Bizarre Brandy already and the shower gel looks especially tempting:

But don’t worry, you’re not getting it!!
The Bizarre Brandy shower gel does sound marvelous but that’s too much money down the drain for me ?
The packaging is especially pretty, though.
The Brandy sounds great. Given the background story of 20’s London & the BYT’s the Bizarre name made me think of Clarice Cliff & her iconic Bizarre range & of the Bizarre Girls – the young flappers who staffed her studio at the time & were encouraged to let their imaginations go wild & create & present their own designs u def the umbrella of her studio.
Thank you for this Robin, they are both tempting and glad they will have Muddled Plum again but it’s bad news that it is in 100ml, they used to have 50ml, much more manageable… oh well.
It is possible those are coming too, although I sort of doubt it because holiday LE…
I’d like the shower gel in all 3 of those. And I don’t have a backlog of shower gels. I also don’t have a lot money to spend on them…
🙂
Tried the brandy & really liked it but on me it was more about the coffee, maple & smoky incense than the brandy
