Niche line Frapin will launch If by R.K., a new unisex gourmand oriental fragrance.
If appears as a question from the famous author Rudyard Kipling. He invites us to think on how to evolve and claim to become the perfect man in his poem "You will become a man my son". The fragrance transports us to India, where Anne-Sophie Behagel takes inspiration from Mysore sandalwood in the background and pepper in the head, from the Karnataka region, enhanced by the milky fig.
Additional notes include bergamot, ginger, cashmere wood, cinnamon leaf, coco, caramel, gaiac wood, patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla.
Frapin If by R.K. will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I wonder how good it works to market this perfume as unisex while the poem is all about becoming a man. Shop assistants in niche perfumeries love to talk about stories and inspirations for a scent, so wouldn’t this be a bit off-putting for interested females? [yes yes, I know, there’s no gender in fragrance etc etc…]
No idea, and no idea how it is being presented in stores.
Another intriguing gourmandy one for me to hunt down….
