Former Estée Lauder exec Veronique Gabai has launched her own line of fragrances (nine scents, two layering "boosters", $70 for 10 ml or $290 for 85 ml) along with some wearables. Shown is the perfume pendant, which holds a 2.5 ml spray ($100 for six). It is sold in silver ($890) or gold vermeil ($990). The chain is sold separately (also expensive), as is a clasp so you can attach it to a bag or belt loop (ditto). They are at Barneys or Liberty London, or you can see it all on the brand website.

Erm. Looks a bit like a dog whistle to me.
It does! I can just see the ad copy — for the dog lover in you, a fragrance-infused dog whistle. Cat lovers need not apply. ?
I guess, but I like it. But I like it at about $50, as usual.
Me too!
???
She stole the Givaudan “G” logo…how bold.
And she is well aware of their existence as a previous Estée exec….
I would wear that, in silver…although it’s out of my budget. Ah well!
I’m betting the scents were given less attention than the doo-dads.
I wonder how many were manufactured and how many will actually sell. Does the company genuinely believe this is a viable product? Or is it just a marketing ploy?
I’m with Robin: I’d take it at 50 bucks.
I haven’t paid attention to anything related to Estee Lauder in years. For just the silver, I could probably spend $30 max.
