Gorgeous bottle design.
Exquisite.
Yes…really nicely done.
Surely in the blurb it should be “flair”, not “flare”??!!
Most certainly. Add copy editor to your list of skills. 🙂
Ha, I did not even notice!
Why thank you! It just annoys me when companies who are expecting people to pay for whatever their products are let sill mistakes appear in their ad copy. I remember emailing our local branch of a well know gym chain asking which services they provided free, given they were advertised as ‘complimentary’! Likewise when I worked in the oil & gas industry, I contacted a potential vendor asking the same thing, & when they asked what on earth I meant, I pointed out this same error & suggested my enquiry was a perfectly legitimate one given their advertising – their website was corrected pretty sharpish!
I see this one all the time. It’s actually more surprising to me when people get it right than when they get it wrong.
Apostrophes being used to add a plural “s” to the end of a word bug me the most!
Oh my word, apostrophes at the end of plurals make my blood boil! That said, re-reading my reply to meredifay I am horrified to see that I missed off the letter ‘y’ at the end of ‘silly’ – in my defence, that was a typo late at night with fingernails that need trimming, rather than an error in language or grammar!
That bottle is just beautiful! Sadly, I don’t expect much from the fragrance. Chuckling at my fellow grammar and spelling cops’ comments, though! I have been known to turn off the radio or TV in a snit when someone misuses the “past contrary to fact” condition. Yes, I studied Latin for many years.
I came here to search for a dupe of Balenciaga L’eau rose. I’ve read your reviews of this perfume back in 2013. This perfume has sentimental value to me as I wore it to my 1st trip to Paris. I know it’s discontinued but can you recommend a good substitute? Many thanks!
I’m so sorry but I don’t know of one offhand. Bvlgari Rose Essentielle has similar notes, but if I remember correctly they are not what I’d call dupes.
