I am sorry / not sorry that I've become attached to Marvis Karakum toothpaste, and I'll be extra sorry when they stop making it (I think it's a limited edition). I also really liked Buly's Opiat Dentaire Mint Coriander Cucumber, but the Marvis is expensive enough as it is. My next lemming is Botot Anis Citrus Réglisse, which at $13.50 for 75 ml is a little less than the Marvis. It is shown above center, along with cinnamon clove (left) and eucalyptus (right). At Smallflower.

Karakum was so good! I almost regret having tried it.
Yeah.
I buy a lovely toothpaste at a local Indian grocery store. It’s ayurvedic and includes cloves, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, peppermint, etc. It’s only a few dollars and quite different from typical drugstore fare. This one’s called Dabur Red.
That sounds great!
Wow, I will have to look for this.
I bought a tube of Marvis Royal (tangerine/rose) last year and I’m juuuuuust coming to the end of it now: I’ve been using it sparingly, alternating it with other, lesser toothpastes, and there’s no way I’ll buy another, not at that price. But I’ll miss it.
Botot doesn’t seem to be available in Canada, or I’d snap up that licorice toothpaste: Marvis Amarelli Licorice is gorgeous (I actually have a tube of it waiting in the wings when I run out of Royal) and I’m always up to try something new.
I have a travel size of the Marvis licorice. It is good. Nature’s Gate licorice was just ok.
