The story is that Aveda's Cherry Almond Softening hair products were discontinued ages ago, then last year they brought them back, then they sold out and Aveda started a waiting list. At the moment, they're back in stock. "Certified organic coconut oil and shea butter deeply condition delivering superior slip and effortless detangling. Formula with naturally-derived cherry blossom extract and sweet almond oil restore softness and shine from roots to ends, leaving your hair feeling touchably soft and full of weightless bounce. Infuses hair with a sweet, juicy floral pure-fume™ aroma containing 38 flower and plant essences inlcuding tonka bean, certified organic orange and ylang ylang."

I’ve never tried this one but I have to say that the new shampoos (you featured the rosewater one on one of your daily lemmings) area amazing. I am using the blackberry one with the conditioner. Not only does it work great but the scent is outstanding. There is a green one that reminds me a bit of Herbal Essence (from what I remember). I am eager to try them all (I think there are six or seven in the range)
Which brand — Pacifica, Pantene, Aveeno?
Aveeno
Great, thanks!
Oh oh! I got the Aveda Cherry Almond shampoo + conditioner for christmas. I’m working through a shampoo backlog, so haven’t started using them yet, but I can confirm that they smell *amazing*
Oh good!
I used these back in the day, after I got tired of the rosemary and mint. I used the original Jergen’s lotion that smelled like cherries and almonds too, anyone know if that still exists?
Yep! It is now called Jergens Original Scent Dry Skin Moisturizer with Cherry Almond Essence.
Thanks!
I just tried this at an Aveda salon and yelled out ‘Jergens! This smells just like my grandmother who used it continuously” My manicurist replied ” Yes, many people say that!’ I would buy it just for sentimental value but there IS still Jergens!!
Excellent, thanks AngelaB.
Aargh….I may not be able to resist if I see these somewhere.
