I have a bit of a weakness for scented hand creams. I buy too many, and then I tend to get more as presents. At the moment, sitting at my desk, there are a total of 11 hand creams within easy reach (yes, I'm sorry I counted). So I won't be buying these cute little tubes from Sephora, and unless you are fresh out of hand cream, you don't need the Almond Hand Balm either (above left; "Pamper your hands with Sephora Collection hand balms. The smooth formulas nourish and take care of your hands every day, without leaving your skin feeling oily or sticky."; also available in Rose and Coconut; $5 for 30 ml). I have no need for Honey Hand Polish (above right; "With gentle and exfoliating sugar particles, the honey hand scrub blurs imperfections and smooths the skin."; $5 for 30 ml) and I am dubious as to whether anybody does, but what do I know.

Do you have a favourite handcream, scent and texture? I don’t have any but should ( based on the look of my hands).
I like Kamill because it’s relatively light and I like the feel of glycerin creams. I keep Kamill pumps by the sinks. Herbacin Kamille is similar and their rose cream smells nice. I have a little tin of the rose in my purse.
If I’ve been cleaning and want something heavier, I use Weleda Light Skin Food.
But I don’t have terribly dry hands anymore. The rest I buy mostly for the smell.
Thanks. I will go and look for these but I have a feeling Kamill isn’t here.
I think Kamill & Herbacin are both German companies (?)
Try Anthropologie. They sell small tins for $5 of this stuff in stores and have testers. It’s great handcream!
I love Aveeno!
I also tend to do hand creams… A colleague used to score regularly from me, because I would buy one and then the scent would bother me, so I’d give it to her. I do need to gather up all the ones I have to stop me from buying more.
The almond sounds nice, but I’d have to try to ensure it doesn’t go all buttered popcorn on me as many of the almond ones do.
I wish the honey was the cream and the almond was the scrub!
I wouldn’t mind buttered popcorn on my hands 🙂
I keep seeing those any time I’m at Sephora. They are really on a budget side!
I started doing my own manicures, and part of the process is having a good hand scrub, followed by trimming nails and cuticles, then massaging in a good hand cream (polish is optional) . These little tubes are perfect if you need to make your hands look and feel better right before a date or a meeting, and I think I will get a couple.
We’re off to visit our friend in Oak Ridge North, near The Woodlands, Texas in May so I will definitely look out for these in the local Sephora. I have a friend’s newly 20 year old daughter who is just getting into ‘smellies’ & another friend who has a stash of mini tubes of handcream at work & always appreciates an addition to her collection! Always nice to bring home gifts that aren’t available in the UK, so although I’ve looked but not purchased at Sephora before, this could be the trip. I also discovered Trader Joe’s a few visits ago, which I absolutely love, & the ‘foodie’ gifts I’ve taken back have always been much appreciated; their ‘smellies’ range, though small, is actually delightful too.
Yeah, I like a good sugar hand scrub, but I can confirm that this one is pretty useless, and doesn’t even smell great.
