Nice packaging. Guess I’ve always been too cheap to go by sell-by dates so I definitely know what it smells like.
I am surprised if lots of people check the date before they eat or smell? But maybe. I don’t usually look at the date unless I’m already suspicious.
My boyfriend’s totally buys in on the sell-by date. I personally don’t use them, though admittedly I don’t drink dairy milk, or eat real cheese. He always gives me grief about eggs. I never eat them runny at home though, so they are usable for a long time.
Interesting. Maybe I am wrong! It would not be the first time.
‘Best before’ dates don’t bother me at all and I always go over them, but I’m more wary with ‘use by’ dates especially on meat and fish. Most of my fragrances are waaaaaay over their recommended use by date too and I couldn’t care less !
I am careful to freeze meat before the date, yes, and I don’t buy fish unless I’m going to cook it that day. Everything else, whatever!
