I still haven’t tried the monastery one that Kevin raves about 🙂
That one is my favorite, but then again, ND is a HUGE line and I’ve hardly tried a fraction.
what is this soap Kevin loves?
Nesti Dante Villages & Monasteries. It’s an incense soap.
Almost 9 dollars? Clearly, I should have stocked on this brands soaps when I visited Florence. They’re everywhere for about $3. 🙁
Yeah! But even at $9, to me they are a bargain. The bars (the ones I’ve bought, anyway) are so large that I cut them in half, plus they last a long time. I think I’ve mostly gotten them a little cheaper, though, and I’d prefer $3 too!
I pay 9-10 bucks for an aleppo soap, but it last forever
Ooooh. I went a little crazy this spring buying Roger & Gallet soaps on eBay, but once I make my way through those I’m buying this AND the monastery one.
I’ll try to remember to buy this one in about 5 years when I may actually use up my bar soap backlog.
