UK niche line Tom Daxon has launched Laconia, a "vibrant sea breeze citrus inspired by Tom's holidays to Greece".
'Everybody was talking at once, the wine was flowing, the food was being replenished, the sun which had been veiled came out strong, the boat was rocking gently…the lemon groves were in sight and the madness which is in their fragrance had already seized us and drawn us tightly together in a frenzy of self-surrender.’ Henry Miller – The Colossus of Maroussi
A vibrant sea breeze citrus. Succulent lemon and mandarin glint off aquatic greens - mint and violet leaf. Vetiver and cardamom provide elegance in the drydown.
Additional notes include bergamot, jasmine and sea salt.
Tom Daxon Laconia is available in 50 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I have to admit I saw the name and thought, “After Laconia, NH, with the yearly motorcycle rally?”
Ha! I am guessing Laconia NH is named for Laconia Greece? But I have no idea.
At first glance, I thought Chanel had a new fragrance!
Yep.
I was reading the blurb and thought, wow, that’s some really good ad copy for a change, then got to the end and saw it was by Henry Miller. 😉
LOL! Yeah, and not what he’d planned, presumably.
