Van Cleef & Arpels will launch Nèroli Amara, a new addition to the brands′s Collection Extraordinaire.
The Collection Extraordinaire presents an emblematic material in perfumery: Neroli. Floral, green, and citrusy all at once, Neroli breathes new air into the Collection, making it more aqueous and botanical. The fragrance of Neroli Amara tells the tale of a princess’s love for her flower, Amara Orange Blossom.
Nèroli Amara was developed by perfumer Quentin Bisch. Additional notes include bergamot, mandarin, lemon, black pepper, orange blossom and cypress.
Van Cleef & Arpels Nèroli Amara will be available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

I’ll probably give this a sniff. I loved Muguet Blanc and failed to snag a bottle before it was discontinued – would hate to be denied by VC&A again!
I will definitely give it a sniff…
This will be my second snarky comment I’ve posted here. “Meh”.
Feel free, and no need to keep count 😉
I’m a fan of Collection Extraordinaire, so I definitely want to try it.
Me too. And I’ve been looking for a good Neroli.
Wow!
Is Neroli the new Oud? Is EVERYBODY coming out with a new Neroli fragrance?
If so, I’m not displeased. I greatly prefer neroli to oud.
I am not mad at this development, either. The more subtle and green nuances of neroli and bigerade are not a bad thing at all!
I love neroli AND oud (um, not together . . . I don’t think?)! Born at the right time, I guess.
I wonder how long it will take to reach the US. Reve de Cashmere was launched last summer, but I have yet to see it here. (If anyone knows otherwise, do tell!) Bois Dore was launched a year ago, and has only just made it to the US in the past couple of months; it actually hit the discounters before it appeared in US department stores. Odd.
Have you tried those, pixel? I really liked the original set and would have happily worn all of them. Orchidee Vanille especially calls out to me. And Cologne Noire was a fantastic masculine.
But I haven’t tried any of the ones after the initial 6.
Super tempted to blind buy the Bois Dore. Have yet to find one in the CE line that I dislike.
As a neroli lover and huge fan of the Collection Extraordinaire line, I can not wait to try this! ????
I’ve really enjoyed a couple of Quentin’s fragrances, so I’m certain this will be terrific. I’m waiting for someone to improve upon the Yves Rocher Neroli…it’s terrific and understated, and at that price point I’m not certain it can be done. Up with neroli!
