Prada has launched Infusion Mandarine, a new addition to the Les Infusions de Prada collection.
Infusion Mandarine is the first citrus to join Les Infusions de Prada, introducing a new scent memory to the collection that evokes the explosive sensation of a fresh mandarin. Blending innovative extraction methods with traditional artistry, Infusion Mandarine is an olfactory ode to an emblematic ingredient.
The scent has an opening dominated by essence of Bitter Orange and Vert de Mandarine. At the heart of the fragrance, absolute of Orange Blossom meets Neroli essence, contrasted with the sultry notes of warm, balsamic Opoponax.
Prada Infusion Mandarine is available now at John Lewis (£102.50) in the UK or Saks Fifth Avenue ($160) in the US, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Sounds nice enough, but I’ve never been drawn to any fragrances in this line. Hopefully, this will change my opinion!
I am behind and so there are quite a few I have not tried…but so far, the Iris is the only one I’ve loved.
I was so saddened by the Vetiver that I stopped sniffing. I did like the Iris though.
Yeah, that one did not make me happy either.
I quite like the Vetiver, but I’m a bit of a vetiver phobe, so that’s probably why 😉
Ooh. This sounds lovely. I’ve enjoyed sniffing all of them, but so far, Iris and mimosa are the only ones I’ve come home with. Mandarine sounds promising, though.
And the mimosa is another I should try…
Did you get to try the Amande or Oeillet?
I am suitably ashamed to say I cannot remember. I know for sure I tried all the early variations (through 2011), and I really think I tried a couple of the later ones but would not swear an oath on it!
I tried them both. The Carnation was nice – peppery but not too sharp. The almond did nothing for me.
My favourite from the whole line is the Oranger – I have an older bottle, and it is a bottle of sunny skank on me.
Hmmm, this sounds VERY intriguing.
I really like the Oeillet and Amande- you get the essence and composition of ingredients that are traditionally rendered to be sweet, and the Prada Infusion line does not do that, making very wearable, especially for daytime or religious services.
I already have my bitter green neroli for the summer, but I look forward to trying this at Nordstroms!
Must. Have. This.
Which one you didn’t try Robin? I have almost all and will be happy to send small samples for you to check them out.
Thank you Lucas, that’s so kind as always! But there are almost certainly places here where I could find testers so it is not worth the resources to mail them across the world 🙂
On a recent trip to Nordstrom I discovered they’re now carrying the entire line. It’s possible (or likely) that not all stores will have them, though.
The notes sounds nice, but all the others I’ve tried – most of them- all have had the same rooty iris base. That base is really nice in Amande, but I can’t see it with mandarins.
This sounds good, can’t wait to try it. Mandarinscents and neroliscents sometimes feel too simple or one dimensional (aka I want to spray on something else too soon ????) Hope the combo works.
The others: Love and own infusion d’iris and mimosa. The iris cedre was too soapy for me. I liked the infusion de rose but it reminded me too much of Diptyque l’eau rose, which I already have. Almond as a note is not for me I think.
