Oh my! These are purty! The tins look like they are perfect for samples, travel EBP and even a set of empty atomizers and dabbers for when one is cheeky enough to test an SA when she says “Sorry, I can’t give you a sample because we ran out of atomizers.”
But then that same SA won’t let you “make” your own samples when you whip out your clean empties 🙁 (this happened at various Sephoras as well as various dept stores …worst being SFA SAs who are the least friendly and extremely put off when you ask to do this)…..then again, I have never gone perfume sniffing with YOU-LOL!
I have found this really varies! I been turned down many times, but I’ve also had SAs really go out of their way to be helpful.
I am shopping with the wrong folks 🙂
Sign me up to go shopping with you. Also, if you carry a Chanel shopping bag, some SAs are more attentive.
HA — that is funny. But I do totally agree it’s true that it always helps to have some sort of shopping bag, so you look like you’re buying. This is true if you need help when shopping for clothing, too, or probably, anything in any store where the SAs work on commission.
ha, hajusuuri! you might be on to something there! When I was in Saks in the city I was wearing my comfortable clothes of leggings, sneakers and carrying a backpack…..this probably explains a lot 🙂
I met up with fearsmice at Barneys about 2 years ago and we did a mock of perfume sample acquisition routine. We did not have to use it for real because the Le Labo SA was very nice.
The Le Labo SA at SAKS completely ignored me when I approached the counter-LOL!
It’s true that the LL SA was very nice.
However, I think that SAs have just come to recognize that Hajusuuri is not to be trifled with.
If you ever have a chance to shop with H., take it! 🙂
They are indeed purty. And conveniently sized for all sorts of scented necessities! As well as lipsticks. And also as a perfect little catch-all to keep on ones nightstand for lip balm, cuticle cream, evening decant, etc.
Also perfect for the toe of Christmas stockings. Or a Hostess gift.
Very reasonably priced.
In short ( or not) the perfect lemming!
Yes — should have made the holiday gift list!
I got lemminged even though I’m not supposed to buy any more soaps or shower products since I already have TONS!
