Well sure, I'll take two: "The unique, elegant fragrance of ALLURE HOMME ÉDITION BLANCHE in a gently cleansing shower gel." $40 for 200 ml at Chanel.

I have this! It’s really nice (as you would expect) and I especially enjoy it for a shower in the summer. The scent lingers on the skin for awhile as well.
Thank you springpansy! It is very tempting.
My favorite Chanel fragrance for men! Very tempting
It’s my favorite modern Chanel for anybody 🙂
Wait. Robin, this is your favorite modern Chanel for anybody? Wow. I don’t know why, but I would have guessed that you preferred one of the Exclusifs!
I guess that I need to try this!
Oh, ok — I meant it’s my favorite mainstream / easily available Chanel! I do prefer some of the Exclusifs. I’m sorry for not speaking more carefully!
And, to now be VERY careful, by modern I mean something like the last 20 years? Because I’d also pick the original 1974 Cristalle over AHEB.
I just basically don’t like anything much that Chanel has issued as a mainstream / non-niche fragrance since I’ve started blogging. I am not a huge fan of what Jacques Polge has done other than this one and the original Egoiste (and everything has been reformulated so Egoiste and Cristalle are not the same anyway).
I get why Chanel works so hard to safeguard the brand, but at the same time, I think it stifles their creativity in fragrance — they cannot feel free to do what they like. I don’t think it’s a surprise that the best they’ve done in recent memory are flankers, where perhaps they felt a more able to be a bit creative — AHEB & Coco Mad.
I’ve never heard the love for this one until last week but now I’m excited to try it!
This scent gets a lot of love among the male basenoters, need to give it a sniff.
