Has anyone ever tried anything from Floracopeia? Their Rose & Vetiver Attar caught my eye: "This earthy, sensual and floral attar is created by infusing a cold water filtered extract of Edward rose into a base of vetiver oil. While on a train ride from Mumbai to Rajasthan, David Crow learned that rose and vetiver has long been considered to be the most beautiful combination of fragrance in the world. Although these two oils are both complex and worlds apart, together they become an unexpected elixir that evokes dreams and joie de vivre. Our organic Rose and Vetiver Attar is produced using no heat and no sandalwood oil. Unlike synthetic perfumes which sit on the skin and mask the body's natural scent, this attar acts as food for your skin, becoming part of your personal, unique fragrance." $50 for 5 ml at Floracopeia.

I’m almost tempted to try this. They offer 20% discount by signing up for their e-mail. A scent that “evokes dreams and joie de vivre” sure, why not!
I just realized — I think this is basically a sample:

Oh fantastic! I’ll try this – good deal thank you Robin!
Please report back! They also have some good looking vetiver essential oils, I might have to do an order.
I will – the shipping was $7.68 so I almost didn’t order, but saved $2.40 with the discount.
I haven’t tried anything from this line, but this one sounds like a must-buy for me. Rose and vetiver is a combo I’ve long adored, vintage JLScherrer being my favorite.
And at the risk of repeating myself, layering SL Vetiver Oriental with rose is divine.
I really should try some layering combos — don’t know why I never thought of it.
I know this one caught my eye when I perused the Floracopeia site before, but at that time the sample size was out of stock. The idea of an attar made without sandalwood oil is a novel and interesting one to me, and rose plus vetiver seems like a can’t-miss combo.
Incidentally, I read David Crow’s book Sacred Smoke, about palo santo, a while back and enjoyed it.
Oh good to know, thanks!
Profumum Roma has a great rose vetiver scent, Rosae Mundi. I agree it’s a nice combo.
