Luxury niche line Clive Christian has launched X Twist Myrrh and X Twist Tabac, new variations on the brand's X fragrances. (See also: X Twist Narcissus and X Twist Saffron.)
X Twist Myrrh ~ "The indulgent and excusive [sic] X Myrrh Twist is an intense woody chypre that’s bought to life by resinous myrrh at its base. Meanwhile, voluptuous floral tuberose, jasmine and magnolia lend the scent a heady, intoxicating edge."
X Twist Saffron ~ "Boasting an effervescent yet warming blend of coriander, tobacco absolute and oakwood, the exclusive X Tabac Twist is a spicy, woody scent that imbues an inviting, modern feel that lingers on its wearer for hours on end."
Clive Christian X Twist Myrrh and X Twist Tabac can be found now at Selfridges in the UK, £250 each for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Well, if anyone cares to leave me a fortune, I’ll take a chance on the Myrrh.

Yes — it is interesting. But they don’t seem to be doing pillars…mostly limited editions.
Aren’t 5 permanent editions of the line? The two VIIs, the two VIIIs and the new Private Collection E? I know the twists are the limited editions.
I think they’ve been sold to a big shareholder. So I’ve heart at least.
Haven’t seen anything in the business news here in the UK about a sale, but the price they charge for their perfumes is outrageous, although I’m led to believe they’re targeting a certain market…
I thought the Rococo & Noble things would turn out to be LE, but no way of knowing. At any rate, they don’t look like pillars.
The SA at Saks last week told me they were permanent editions, but she was not a rep for the company. She did not know about the E Private Collection, the Tuberose or the Baies Rose.
