Italian niche line Hilde Soliani has launched two new gourmand fragrances, Hot Milk and Il Tempo delle Mele.
Hot Milk ~ "Sure, there's an intensely electric burst of resinous black pepper, nose-tingling cinnamon, and even an undercurrent of insidiously scalding chili oil, but leave it to Hilde Soliani to balance all of that firepower on top of a pitch-perfect milk note that soothes the spirit and ignites our sense of childhood with a wondrously cool creaminess."
Il Tempo delle Mele ~ "...her ode to Emilia-born chef Igles Corelli, Soliani opts for a simple, mouthwatering local delicacy- the torta di mele ferrarrese, a basic but luscious apple cake enjoyed by everyone from kids to grandparents. [...] Il Tempo, with its vibrant, juicy tart apple, creamy vanilla, and warm, mouthwateringly lactic milk note that emerges more and more as the fragrance dries."
Hilde Soliani Hot Milk and Il Tempo delle Mele can be found now at Luckyscent, $160 each for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Hot Milk is calling my name.
Yeah, me too. Turning up the music so I can’t hear.
I’m with you on that- I don’t usually go for gourmands because I have an irrational hatred of vanilla, but this one sounds really interesting.
Ever since I started breastfeeding, I’ve sorta wanted a T-shirt that says “Hot Milk!” in glitter letters on the front. 🙂
And the fragrance is calling my name, too.
WHY are her beautifully fun offerings so expensive? Imagine: MILK and FRAAAGOLA…
They really are not cheap! And the packaging, sad to say, does not match the prices.
I agree. I remember when Luckyscent started offering Il Tuo Tulipano and I debated shelling out $70-ish dollars for a bottle (I didn’t). Now her price point is at least double that and I just don’t think it relates to the enjoyment I get from her line. I like Fraaagola Saalaaata in hot weather but not for $160.00 – and the bottle is dollar store worthy.
I LOVE this line of gourmands. Crema di Latti is soooooo realistic. Orgasmo is pretty awesome too! I hoard the samples, because a FB is so stinkin’ expensive! Time to order new samples…. 🙂
Does anyone in the hot-milk-drinking world put in a bit of chili/oil?
