Laura Slatkin's Nest Fragrances brand has launched Black Tulip, a new warm floral fragrance for women.
Black amber plum is nuanced by the aroma of patchouli, pink pepper, and Japanese violet for a scent that is as provocative as it is seductive and alluring.
Inspired by the works of 18th Century British artist Mrs. Mary Delany, Laura Slatkin collaborated with master perfumers to translate these works of art into luxurious fragrances that capture the essence of each of the botanicals that adorn the products' striking packaging.
Nest Fragrances Black Tulip is available now at Sephora, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum ($72) or 8.5 ml rollerball ($25).

The Nest packaging is just SO attractive, I wish the fragrances suited me better.
Ditto!! Even the rollerballs are cute.
OOOH….that bottle!!!!
I happen to have Midnight Fleur in the original bottle which is substantially heftier and is a black muted glass to prevent the light from deteriorating the scent and it is gorgeous…the bottle and the fragrance…don’t know how the current formulation compares but I know that since Sephora started carrying the line the bottle changed….
Did not know they’d changed the packaging, thanks.
Oh how I love Nest! The fragrances are as beautiful as the bottles. This new one is so voluptuous. I can’t wait to try it!
Good luck!
Wandering off topic, a favourite lip pencil from year ago was Black Tulip, possibly by Rimmel…
A Sephora sales associate described this one as “black raspberry Jolly Rancher” before she sprayed it on a test strip and I think she hit the nail on the head.
